1st United Services Credit Union Will Donate $10 Per New Qualifying Account to either the Alameda County Community Food Bank or Toys for Tots

Pleasanton, CA – November 1, 2011 – 1st United Services Credit Union has partnered with the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) and Toys for Tots for “Sharing is Caring” referral promotion.

When members refer their friends and family for membership, 1st USCU will donate $10 to either charity when the new account is opened. New accounts can be opened at any one of the 11 branches in the East Bay or online at http://www.1stuscu.org

Additional donations will be collected in a variety of ways. All 11 East Bay branches of 1st USCU will have an ACCFB barrel and a Toys for Tots collection box in November and December. Members can also donate additional funds at a 1st USCU branches, Toys for Tots online or by visiting the Virtual Food Drive to donate to the ACCFB. 1st USCU employees will participate by making donations to wear jeans on Fridays and volunteering for local ACCFB and Toys for Tots events. The 1st USCU Bad to the Bone BBQ team will also contribute by providing a BBQ lunch for employees who donate to the cause.
