Festive breaks at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa, Cheshire, available at 2010 prices!

Nov. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- For those wanting a hassle-free Christmas in a magical atmosphere, The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa – owned and operated by Nelson Hotels – is hosting indulgent two and three-night Christmas breaks between 24th and 27th December, full of fabulous food, fun and entertainment. Guests booking before 30th November will enjoy their festive break at 2010 prices, starting from only £280 per person!

The festivities begin on Christmas Eve, where guests head to the four-star Grosvenor Pulford, one of the finest Hotels in Cheshire, for a relaxing afternoon; enjoying the hotel’s fabulous leisure facilities and indulging in coffee and mince pies by the fire in the cosy Nelson’s Bar. A pre-dinner drink starts off the evening, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal in Ciro's Brasserie. A relaxing evening lies ahead, soaking up the festive atmosphere of Nelson’s Bar; or alternatively a trip to a local church service, followed by a warming mulled wine or hot chocolate!

Christmas Day brings a feast of activities. After a delicious full English breakfast there’s an exciting quiz, with great prizes to be won. The main event, a traditional four-course Christmas lunch served in the decadent Grosvenor Suite is complete with a visit from Santa, bearing gifts for all the children; then relax and while away a few hours in Nelson’s Bar, listening to The Queen’s Speech, and playing a selection of board games.  A light yet festive evening buffet precedes a fun filled evening of singing and dancing with the resident DJ, where there’s a special prize for the best singer!

Boxing Day starts with a leisurely full English breakfast in Ciro's Brasserie, and then the day is your own. Following a scrumptious Carvery luncheon, guests can indulge in a spot of shopping, and sightseeing in nearby Chester, or for those seeking pure relaxation, the luxurious Spa by Kasia has a tempting array of treatments on offer, including the ultimate festive treat in the form of one of several Christmas Spa packages.  Spa treatments are at an additional cost and must be booked in advance.

Boxing Day draws to a close with a glitzy dinner dance, featuring the sensational Peter Cutler, international cabaret artist direct from the West End. Dance away to a fine selection of big band, Frank Sinatra and Rat Pack classics before moving on to some terrific up-tempo classics.

After all that festive fun and a good night’s sleep, spend a relaxed morning in Ciro's Brasserie with a coffee and full English breakfast before reluctantly departing for home.

The three-night Christmas break costs £399 per person, or £374 per person if booked before 30th November, whilst a two night break costs £300 per person or £280 per person until 30th November.  Prices are based on two people sharing with a single person supplement of £60. Children under 12 cost £165 per child for three nights or £125 for two nights, whilst children under the age of three years stay free of charge.
