Local Business Supports The Stardust Arts in a Holiday Silent Auction and Fundraiser

Nov. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- In Encinitas, CA on December 11, 2011 between 10-4pm,  30 artists of the San Dieguito Art Guild hosted at two homes will be displaying art and holiday gifts for sale.

The Stardust Arts booth will be hosting a very special Silent Auction and Fundraiser with gifts donated from location business in support of the Stardust Angels Program that serves under served children with the opportunity of art. The students are working hard in support of making holiday cards and gift items to sell to promote the cause and support their arts.

Items donated by the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad, Vicky Kays Designer Clothing  Shop, the Stand Up Guys with paddle board lesson for the young ones, The Carlsbad Chocolate Shop and more are all supporting the "Stardust Angels" program for youth art.

Education in art is so very important in the curriculum today, in schools as we all know it, is a missing element.  The Stardust Arts promotes the development of creativity and imagination in youth and is proud to be recognized by the California State Assembly ,  the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and a partner of  the Dr Wilderness Show, a non-profit organization who is providing  the support to reach out to the community on a wider spectrum in order to obtain community grants and additional funding to keep the program running smoothly.

Supported by grants and donations the program has reached out to over 3200 students since it's inception in 2009 and continues to expand it's program in reaching out to undeserved and in needs students.

An additional home with 15 artists is being hosted by artist Grace Swanson located at  1565 Gasony Rd. in Encinitas displaying art for sale.  So stop by.
