Last night the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney Association (CDCBAA) bestowed upon Nancy B. Clark, Senior Associate at the Bankruptcy firm of Borowitz & Clark, LLP, the Thomas B. Donovan Excellence Award recognizing her outstanding work on behalf of consumer debtors in the Bankruptcy Courts. This award is named after Thomas B. Donovan who is well known in the bankruptcy community for his love of law, for his compassion and understanding of the litigants before him and for his fair and reasoned rulings. The award honors and recognizes an outstanding Attorney or Judge in the consumer bankruptcy field for excellence in writing or advocacy; service to the court; or service to the bar. This award is given at the discretion of the CDCBAA and is not an annual award. This award recognizes and is reserved for truly excellent scholastic, academic, or legal writing, advocacy, or service in the field of Consumer Bankruptcy Law.

Nancy B. Clark has dedicated her career to helping clients navigate the Bankruptcy Courts. She fights tirelessly to protect her clients’ rights and the rights of all debtors in the Central District of California. Ms. Clark also serves as the Amicus Committee Chair for the CDCBAA.

The Thomas B. Donovan Excellence Award Achievement is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, compassion, and dedication of its namesake.
