Nov. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- For the eighth year in a row, the FAQRA FESTIVAL was held from 11th to 15th of August. The 2011 edition of St. Mary’s festivities host various artists, Lebanese designers, craftsmen and artisans among others and proved this year to be even better than previous years. It gave visitors a full-fledged list of entertainments including the chance to have breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner up in the sky with the worldwide suspended restaurant concept of “Dinner in the Sky”. Prestigious and unforgettable culinary experiences by renowned chefs were on the menu including Chateau Marsyas Red and White. Wine amateurs and connoisseurs appreciated a Chateau Marsyas 2008 vintage characterized by a dark color and a deep purple reflection, a minutious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Petit Verdot. On another note, Chateau Marsyas White 2009 with its dry and fruity notes got all the attention, a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc with exotic fruits aromas. Chateau Marsyas, the boutique winery of the Johnny R. Saadé Family brought the authentic touch of the Beqaa terroir to Faqra festival’s 2011 edition which ended with the outstanding and traditional fireworks.
