The Resource Group Successfully Hosts their 11th Annual Microsoft Dynamics GP Customer Conference

Nov. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- RENTON, WA — More than 100 customers and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) attended The Resource Group’s 11th Annual RG Connect Customer Conference held September 23, 2011, at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle. The Resource Group (http://www.resgroup.com) is a leading provider of Microsoft Dynamics® GP (Great Plains) accounting and business management software solutions based in Renton, WA.

Each year, The Resource Group hosts the day-long event to give its Microsoft Dynamics GP customers the opportunity to network with peers, see the latest technology from Microsoft and its Partners, and most importantly learn how to use their system better. This year's customer conference focused on Business Insight, which leads to Better Management. The goal of The Resource Group is to help its customers get the information they need each day in their roles, faster and easier using the Microsoft Dynamics solution.

“What I enjoyed most about RG Connect this year was the face-to-face time with our customers,” said Denise Schillaci, President of The Resource Group.  “It was great catching up on what is happening in their businesses and identifying ways we can help them use their systems better.  It was also fun to see the friendships renewed between our customers.  RG Connect is my favorite networking event.”

Topics at this year’s event included What’s new in Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics GP Tips and Tricks to Make You a Power User, and BI Reporting Tools Overview, Where to Start for BI. The conference also included an expo with top Microsoft Dynamics ISVs as well as a look into the future direction of Microsoft Dynamics and specifically Dynamics GP in the Cloud.

“The time spent demoing live software is so valuable, both from an instructional point and an idea generation point,” according to event attendee Kade Kraus, CFO of KLIM.

The Resource Group plans to host the event again in September of 2012.
