Italian pork sausage links, browned and thinly sliced 1 onion, chopped 1 to 2 carrots, peeled and chopped 2 c. tomatoes, diced 2 14-oz. cans vegetable broth 14-oz. can pizza sauce 2 c. water 1 bay leaf 1 to 2 zucchini, shredded or sliced 9-oz. pkg. refrigerated cheese tortellini, uncooked Garnish: Parmesan cheese curls In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients except for zucchini, tortellini and garnish. Cover and cook on low setting for 5 to 7 hours. Add zucchini and tortellini to slow cooker; cover and cook on low setting for one additional hour. At serving time, discard bay leaf.
