Jessica Richardson-Isenegger, Senior Partner at inFUSION Group was a key note speaker at the Financial Cooperatives Conference held in Cape Town, South Africa. She presented on the topic of “Enduring Success: What we can learn from the History of Outstanding Credit Unions.”

"We were very honored by the invitation,” commented Richardson-Isenegger. "inFUSION Group has had the opportunity to work with some great credit unions and I was very happy to share our knowledge with a growing industry in South Africa.” Appropriately, Richardson-Isenegger presented on World Credit Union Day, October 20, 2011. The Indaba (conference) was attended by representatives from co-operative financial institutions, representative bodies and development agencies working with financial co-operatives. Richardson-Isenegger also served as a panelist along with others drawn from the sector, academia and government, which represented a full range of expertise.

“The industry in South Africa is in a developmental stage. I was able to share best practice in terms of growing sustainable and compliant institutions,” explained Richardson-Isenegger. “I was impressed with the level of commitment and passion that I encountered during conversation and tours.”
