Nov. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta restaurateur and chef, Nhan Le, well-known for his Bottle Rocket sushi bar and his So Ba Vietnamese restaurant, has created a late night restaurant that surpasses all culinary limitations in the heart of East Atlanta’s trendy, entertainment district. With so many restaurants scaling back their menus and hours of operation in a sluggish economy, Mr. Le and Executive Chef, Angus Brown, recently opened the doors to Octopus Bar, featuring gourmet food served to satisfy the sophisticated late night diners of Atlanta, nightly, until 3am.

According to Chef Le, “Octopus Bar is essentially a ‘restaurant within a restaurant’, delivering the types of food and exotic flavors that Atlanta’s sophisticated late night diners are craving.  You’re unlikely to find food anywhere like this in the metro Atlanta area.”

With a diverse spectrum of flavors and dishes featured throughout the menu at Octopus Bar, such as rabbit and shrimp wonton soup, grilled baby mackerel with chili ponzu sauce, and toro tuna tartare, the restaurant has emerged onto the food and dining scene in a market that has long-ignored the city’s late night dining crowds who have become far more selective about late dining options available to them.

“We deliver the types of food and flavors that Atlanta’s increasingly sophisticated diners have come to expect,” says Chef Le, adding, “We present excellent cuisine and flavors in a fun atmosphere that ties it all together for our guests.”

Octopus Bar’s Executive Chef, Angus Brown, has also influenced the menu that leverages Chef Le’s expertise surrounding Asian cuisine and the intricate flavors that compose each dish. Chef Brown has expertly combined many of his own personal styles and preferences that have been crafted over time in restaurants throughout the United States, including the highly regarded Miller Union in Atlanta.

“My favorite part about Octopus Bar is the freedom that we have to create serious and memorable food in an interesting and unique environment. We always want people to have a great time here and to be impressed by our food,” says Chef Brown.
