Nov. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- What's new in luxury custom home design? The CHER Plan is a Mediterranean dream home that always welcomes you home. Atlanta’s award-wining Architect Boye Akinola, AIA of www.boyehomeplans.com designed this spectacular curb appealing luxury custom home design.  

The front entrance of this beautiful house is framed by two wings of the house-one wing is the master closet wing and the other wing is the garage wing creating a spectacular front entrance courtyard. You enter this luxury dream home into a two foyer which has a curved stair in the background that welcomes you. To the left of the foyer is a dramatic spacious open dining room (13’-6” wide  by 17” deep) that is framed with arched cased openings that are supported by round columns. These columns can be finished in cast stone or wood trim, painted. To the left of the foyer is an formal open living room.

The central family room of CHER Plan is the focal point in this house and is a great place for entertaining friends and family. The side wall of the family room is accented by a two story fireplace flanked by an entertainment center on either side that provides the warmth for the family room gathering. The spacious family room is open to the breakfast room and kitchen. The family room is embellished with large open windows that connect to the back of the house.

The open contemporary kitchen has an island counter with a range and this raised counter bar allows for sitting at the island counter for informal family eating activities. The kitchen is spacious measuring 16’-8” wide by 16”-7” deep. The breakfast room has lots of windows that bring in natural light. Adjacent to the breakfast room is a covered porch.

The CHER Plan has a master bedroom with its private intimate sitting area that is located on the main floor and is very spacious. The master bedroom has a wall full of windows opening dramatic views at the rear of the house. A see-thru fire place links the master bedroom to the master bath. The master bathroom is very lavish and open and has a central tub that is placed adjacent to a large glass enclosed shower. The vanity are spacious for his and hers! There is a spacious linen closet that leads to a very large His and Hers separate walk in royal-closet. No fighting for closet space in this master suite!

Like in most of Architect Boye’s plans, there is a spacious loft/teen study on the second floor conducive for the children’s reading and entertainment activities while upstairs. On the main floor is a guest bedroom (with its own private bathroom) that can be used as an in-law suite that is very suitable for the grand parents, in-laws or relatives. Each bedroom upstairs has its own bathroom.

The CHER Plan’s front elevation is a Mediterranean design with the use of stucco as its exterior wall finish materials. Barrel clay tile roofs are used on this curb appealing gem. Like in most of our new plans, we have added an I-pod, I-pad and I-phone charging station/rack for the whole family in the desk area of the kitchen. A finished basement plan is available that consists of a theater room, recreation area, game lounge, exercise room, guest bedroom, office, bathrooms, outdoor lanai area and patio.
