Outcome of Betrayal new Song to be Included in Open Online Voting for Project Independent

Oct. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- The metal band Outcome of Betrayal is among those selected to compete for Project Independent’s Featured Artist. The band has submitted their inspirational metal song “Right of Passage” to showcase their talent. Open online voting for the title will begin on November 1, 2011.

Project Independent is an international organization that seeks to discover new talent in the metal music genre. They also aim to foster success among independent metal music artists. With their touring showcase and selection of Featured Artist, Project Independent teaches and assists new metal bands in many ways.

Outcome of Betrayal is in the running for the top position, along with many other bands across the nation. The winner will tour and get assistance with their band’s music production and manufacturing needs through the Project.

Outcome of Betrayal is well on the way to securing a large number of votes. They have not only submitted “Right of Passage,”, They have also been reaching out to their listeners through Facebook, increasing their fan-base there by thousands in the first week after the song was released.

Lead vocalist for the band, James Simpson described the band’s connection with their audience. “We want to have fun making music that people enjoy and can relate to.”

Counting Simpson, there are five members in Outcome of Betrayal. The band is composed of Simpson on vocals, Brian Crangle on guitar, Alex Hughes doing both guitar and vocals, Mark Drago as the bassist, and Patrick Sommer on drums.  The group’s skill and cohesion are astounding considering the short period of time the metal band has been together.

The band began its journey in 2008. The members of the band have been influenced by several other metal bands that inspire them. These include In Flames, Soilwork, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying and Haste the Day. These bands are at the forefront of the kind of metal music Outcome of Betrayal is interested in sharing.

Outcome of Betrayal is booking Midwest appearances right now. They have just launched their new website, (OutComeOfBetrayal.com) where you can find music, merchandise and information about the metal band.

Outcome of Betrayal members want their music to reach out to as many people as possible. They hope to one day inspire others with their songs. The Project Independent open online voting event will give them a chance to reach more listeners with their music and their message than ever before.
