The sixteenth annual DC DanceSport Inferno, one of the largest amateur ballroom competitions on the East Coast, will bring top ballroom talent into the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area.
825 competitors and collegiate teams will dance in two days of American and International style competition. The Saturday evening session will feature show dances from the top six couples at the championship level.
DCDI officials include acclaimed ballroom dancers Dan Calloway, Bill Davies, and Ieva Pauksena. DCDI is organized by Ballroom at Maryland, the competitive dance team at University of Maryland, College Park, with Ily and Elena Zislin, the organizers of Championship Dance Camps.
