-- For the second year in a row, MTM LinguaSoft has been recognized as one of the Philadelphia 100, http://www.philadelphia100.com — one of the fastest growing companies in the region. The awards ceremony took place last night at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on the University of Pennsylvania campus.
The Philadelphia 100 is a merit based program. Only companies that are among the fastest growing, privately-held companies are awarded the Philadelphia 100 designation. The integrity of the process and the resulting list makes the Philadelphia 100 one of the most sought after awards in the region. The award is sponsored by the Wharton Small Business Development Center, the Entrepreneur’
s Forum and the Philadelphia Business Journal. This year close to 400 businesses were nominated for the award.
2011 was the second year that MTM LinguaSoft, which was founded in 2003, applied for the award, winning it both times. The company had revenue growth of over 33 percent between 2008 and 2010, despite the recession. This came on top of growth of almost 72 percent between 2007 and 2009. The complete list of awardees will be published in the November 4 issue of the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Myriam Siftar, president and founder of MTM LinguaSoft, expressed her gratitude to those who contributed to the recognition saying, "I am proud of our hard work and the team’s focus on customer service and teamwork. This is our second year receiving the award and on behalf of all of us at MTM LinguaSoft, I thank our customers and partners for their trust."
