Oct. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- The game six of the World Series was predicted a bummer. However, the Thursday game turned out to be a hall-famer, thanks to Cardinals' unexpected home-run in the 11th inning. And to celebrate it, remote controlled flying fishies are recommended.

It was David Freese who specifically scored the historic home run in the eleventh inning. Before that, he also saved his team from losing with a two-run triple in the ninth.

The now most-talked-about home run by Freese gave Cardinals a one-point lead off Texas, stunning and forcing the Rangers to game seven. And from being deemed a boring series, the 2011 World Series has now become a must-see match-up.

“Game six of the World Series was over and with just a one-point difference, the Cardinals got it. That just basically forced the Texas Rangers to Game 7.”

“Thursday night's game was initially judged as sloppy. The kind that makes a terrible and boring viewing. But, man, did it surprise everybody. During the late innings, the sloppy game turned to probably one of the greatest thrillers in baseball history. It just reminds you why baseball is America's favorite sports.”

“David Freese was the star of game 6. After his two-run triple in the ninth inning, he sealed Cardinals' victory in the eleventh with a home run. And that home-run is what basically got his jersey torn and his bat wrapped for the hall of fame.”

“Hours after David Freese's home run plunked down on the grass patch beyond the center field wall, long after the ballpark emptied, a message still burned bright on the scoreboard: "See you TOMORROW NIGHT for Game 7 of the World Series!"

“Whatever happens, whether the St. Louis Cardinals or Texas Rangers win, they'll have a hard time topping Thursday night.”

"You had to be here to believe it," St. Louis manager Tony La Russa said.”

“In one of the greatest thrillers in baseball history, the Cardinals twice rallied when they were down to their last strike of the season. First, Freese saved them with a two-run triple in the ninth, then Lance Berkman delivered a tying single in the 10th.”
