Olthoff Joins Berglund Construction as Project Executive

Oct. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Berglund Construction, a leading Midwest based commercial construction management company welcomes their newest Chesterton office team member, Scott Olthoff as Project Executive.

Olthoff has managed an impressive array of Indiana and Illinois construction projects; some of which include:  Silva International Headquarters, Momence, IL; Faith Church, Dyer, IN; Two-Story, 29,000 sq. ft. addition; Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, IL, below ground 466,000 sq. ft. garage with exhibit space and link; Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lemont, IL; Hampton Inn and Suites, Matteson, IL; Montgomery Place Retirement Community, Chicago, IL and Plaza 32, Chicago, IL, a high-rise condominium project.

Olthoff has over 19 years’ experience in the industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University.  Olthoff is a member of the United States Green Building Council and is seeking his LEED Accreditation in Building Design and Construction.

Olthoff’s responsibilities at Berglund will include project management tasks relating to client satisfaction, key project performance indicators such as schedule and budget adherence as well as maintaining the BIM (Building Information Modeling) model during construction.  An accomplished professional, leveraging his successful portfolio of $250 million worth of successfully completed projects.  Scott is responsible for the administration and successful execution of his construction projects.
