Big Time Speedway is thrilled to be bringing the Original EXTREME SPORT of Motorcycle SPEEDWAY RACING to Prairie City OHV Park on November 5th. Prairie City OHV Park is the home of the Dirt Diggers North world famous” Hangtown” AMA National MX classic and is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills some 25 miles east of the States Capitol in Sacramento and 60 miles west of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Northern California’s newest Motorcycle SPEEDWAY Racing venue is just minutes off US Hwy #50. With California’s rich and prestigious racing history, this American Motorcyclist Association – AMA sanctioned event will not only attract 16 of the country’s fastest Professional racers, but some of the world’s best fans. Motorcycle SPEEDWAY RACING has unique ability to deliver what the fans CRAVE, Non-stop dynamic fast paced racing that puts them right on top of the action while having the ability to see the entire race track. Add the smell of methanol fuel in the air and the atmosphere from the audience rises to another level. They can’t wait to see these specialized motorcycles accelerate to 60+ mph in less than 3 seconds, which is on par with a Formula One Race car, yet rather surprisingly they have No Brakes, No Suspension and No gears so now the riders must slide their bikes into and through the corners of this loosely packed decomposed granite oval using their rear wheels to scrub-off speed, still using there awesome power to drive them forward to the next turn!
