Glass Doctor Franchise Owner in Milwaukee, WI Wins Excellence in Mentorship Award

Oct. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- David Kozlowski of Glass Doctor of Southeast Wisconsin was honored with the 2010 Glass Doctor Excellence in Mentoring Award during The Dwyer Group®’s 2011 Reunion held Oct. 19 – 22 at the Indianapolis JW Marriott.

“I can’t stress enough how much we appreciate our mentors,” Glass Doctor President Mark Dawson said. “As a Leadership Council Member, David seeks out advice and feedback on ways to improve the system.  He spends countless hours on the phone helping others improve their business, and he led the way in providing donations to the Ronald McDonald House® in his territory.”

The Excellence in Mentoring Award is given to the owner who not only sets an example for his or her colleagues, but also goes above and beyond the call of duty to help ensure their success.

“It’s a nice surprise to get this award,” Kozlowski said. “I do this because of the franchisees. It’s my way of giving back.”

Fellow Glass Doctor franchise owners recognized Kozlowski for his leadership abilities by selecting him to be an at-large representative on the Glass Doctor Franchise Leadership Council. Council members work with the corporate home office to develop ongoing strategic plans and programs to benefit the entire franchise system. In 2010, he also served as the Glass Doctor representative to The Dwyer Group steering committee for the company’s involvement with the Ronald McDonald House Charities®.
