Piemonte & Liebhauser Win Sloan Award for Workplace Flexibility
Piemonte & Liebhauser LLC, a business management and accounting firm based in Florham Park, NJ, is among the proud recipients in Morris County, NJ of the 2011 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility.
“Being named a recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Award is a tremendous honor,” said Gina Liebhauser. “Everyone at the firm has invested of themselves in our success. Providing the flexibility we all need to manage our work and life responsibilities simply makes good business sense.”
Piemonte & Liebhauser work with a diverse group of clients and high-net worth individuals including entrepreneurs and closely-held businesses in the entertainment, digital marketing, insurance, real estate and investment banking industries.
The Sloan Award is given by When Work Works, a joint project of the Families and Work Institute and The Society for Human Resource Management, in conjunction with the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. Other Morris County companies being honored include Deloitte, KPMG, LLP, and Solix, Inc.
The Sloan Award honors companies that successfully use flexibility to meet both employer and employee goals. A rigorous two-step application and scoring process was developed that includes evaluation of employers’ programs and practices, and a confidential employee survey. Receiving the award signifies that a company is in the top 20 percent of employers nationally in terms of its programs, policies and culture for creating an effective and flexible workplace.
