Designed and built especially for retail industry applications, the TG3 is ideal for tagging and labelling apparel, accessories, house hold goods, furnishings and much more, because it enables retailers to create brand identity awareness by producing high quality, attractive tags that may include brand name, brand logo, brand tagline, product ID, company URL, etc. Users can also create tags or labels to display price, price markdowns, inventory clearance items, product Stock Keeping Unit information, Price Look Up information, product origin, and size/style/gender ID.
Also a versatile solution to the various retail industry demands, SATO’s DR3 printer is suitable for applications such as label and tag price marking and markdown, accessories and apparel tagging, baggage tags and admission tickets. Fulfilling all multi-purpose tagging needs, tags can be printed up to 0.28mm or 0.011” thickness. The tagging and labelling opportunities with the DR3 are endless.
SATO’s latest innovation is the lightweight and portable TH2, which is suited to both the retail and Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) environments particularly due to its powerful price markdown functionality. Using the user-defined database, which can easily be downloaded to the unit’s SD card or accessed via the LAN, price calculation responsibilities are removed from the staff on the shop floor while they are still able to implement a sale at short notice to clear end of line or perishable products or to improve inventory flow. Integrating with any handheld scanner, the TH2 can print WAS and NOW prices with percentage discount information set automatically onto a tag or label.
The TH2 is also able to operate within a temperature range between 0 and 40˚C and has an anti-microbial coating. With its internal real-time clock the TH2 enables users to adhere easily to food preparation and labelling legislation as it simply calculates and prints onto labels the pull, thaw and use by dates (and times) for products stored in its user-specific database without the possibility of operator error. Other food industry applications include ingredient labelling and shelf labelling.
