Oct. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Print Art, Inc. (www.print-art.net), is pleased announce that the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce selected its facility as the special event location for Governor Chris Christie’s “Conversation with Atlantic County Businesspeople.” Held on Thursday, October 20th, this invitation-only, Chamber member’s event focused on the Governor’s economic development agenda and his efforts to create real New Jersey jobs.

Carl Blase, CEO of Print Art, partnered with Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce President Joseph D. Kelly and the office of the Governor to coordinate the informative special event. Print Art was selected because of its reputation as one of the area’s successful manufacturing facilities. “We are excited that the Chamber and the Governor’s office selected Print Art as the site for this forum,” said Blase. “We've been a manufacturing business in Atlantic County for over 55 years, and we're proud of that strong history. It was a wonderful opportunity for the Atlantic City Chamber and our company to participate in a discussion with the Governor about the economic development in our local area."

Print Art employs 70 people, with 75% residing in Atlantic County. The company also has a big heart, supporting local organizations such as South Jersey Foodbank, Manna at the Shore, Gold Foundation, The Hansen House, Walk for the Wounded, Spirit of Children, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, United Way, American Red Cross and the Little Rock Foundation. In 2010, Print Art was honored with the Press of Atlantic City’s “Best of the Press Gold Award” for commercial printing. They serve the advertising, educational, financial, gaming, healthcare and retail industries in the area, with national accounts and regional clients throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C.

"It was my pleasure to come to a company like Print Art with its long manufacturing and employment history in Atlantic County,” said Governor Chris Christie. “It is small businesses like yours that are the backbone for innovation and employment opportunities in our local communities. I am dedicated to helping companies like yours through business-friendly policies to have you thrive, grow and, most importantly, stay in New Jersey."

Approximately 200 Atlantic County businesspeople attended Thursday’s event in Egg Harbor Township. Governor Christie presided over a question and answer period and attendees had the opportunity join the conversation. Print Art would like to extend its gratitude to the following individuals and companies who helped make this special event possible: Mike Keeping and the Atlantic City Jitney Association, Michael Charlton and Gourmet Italian Restaurant, and Bellevue Properties Group.
