Vivid Marketing Managers Run In Baltimore Running Festival 2011

Oct. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- October 15, 2011 - Baltimore celebrated its 11th annual Baltimore Running Festival this past weekend. The day was beautiful and the streets of Baltimore were filled with anxious runners looking to accomplish either a 13.1 or 26.2 mile run. For the first time ever the full marathon course toured the Baltimore Zoo! The coolest thing about the race was runners got the true flavor of what Baltimore has to offer. Running alongside ravens and penguins at the Zoo, the cobble stoned streets of Fell’s Point, and the iconographic Inner Harbor really showed runners exactly why Baltimore is coined “Charm City”!

The race had its biggest turn out ever with over 25,000 runners! The race included participants from 50 states and 22 countries! Included in those 25,000 runners was the Vivid Marketing Management Team: President Chrysanthi Halkiotis, Managing Partner Brandon Smith and Assistant Manager Emily Moore. Halkiotis participated in the full marathon - her first one ever, while Smith and Moore competed in the half marathon. When asked about the race, Assistant Manager Emily Moore said “I’ve lived in Baltimore for 2 years and never knew Baltimore had so many cool buildings and landmarks. Running through the city gave me a whole new appreciation for what Baltimore has to offer. Taking a running tour through some of the most historic areas in Baltimore made the 13.1 miles go by much faster!”

A big congratulation goes out to the entire Management Team on their accomplishment! Especially to President Chrysanthi Halkiotis; setting her goal at finishing in less than five hours, Halkiotis crossed the finish line in just five hours and five minutes. Pretty impressive for her first full marathon!! Way to go Team Vivid!
