We're Growing
Oct. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Mooloolaba, Australia—Rick Hoy, the Managing Director of iApps Australia, taps three times on his iPhone—one app that can self manage a 50,000-acre cattle station, two visually perfect educational games for young adults, and one that effortlessly compares all your local fuel prices for you. “The mobile future is here, we’re going global and aim to set the standard for mobile, web and application development worldwide,” he proclaims.

Team iApps are celebrating the opening of their brand new production studio in Bangalore, India. The southern Indian city of five million is commonly referred to as the ‘Silicon Valley of Asia’, and is a hub for respected multi-national IT service corporations. “Now it can count iApps as it’s latest resident”, said Hoy, as full scale production commenced during the latter half of September.

"iApps is combining the very best in Australian and Indian talent, as we hope to remain at the forefront of growth opportunities in the rapidly expanding mobile applications industry”, said Hoy.

Bangalore, India will serve as the company's springboard for further Asia/Pacific expansion. iApps Chief Technical Officer, Andrew Longhorn said, “Investment in expanding into the huge Indian market has been a significant milestone in iApps' history, as it will allow us to achieve our corporate growth strategy outside of Australia and further develop our products in the Asia/Pacific.

"We are really excited to build on our reputation as experts in the web, applications and mobile development industry as we push further into new markets with our world-class, best-selling applications. Our corporate investment strategy remains focused on cutting edge mobile innovation and our investment in the Asia/Pacific is corresponding with this strategy."

Hoy said “iApps will extend our reach globally, and will accelerate our ability to reach individuals across multiple personal mobile devices. iApps seek to optimise the delivery of stylish and highly sophisticated mobile application technologies to a range of different platforms, finally closing the gap between people and technology.”

"We are leading the way for innovative mobile application development in Australia, and given the current economic environment, would encourage anyone with a great app idea to get involved in this booming industry. Applications are the new software and the digital revolution is here. Soon there will be an app for just about everything and iApps will be at the forefront of supplying this demand."
