Oct. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- The Web Guys, Inc., TWG Design Studio Announce Legacy Gift of Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care and Renal Center at Kosairs Children’s Hospital

Elizabethtown, Kentucky – October 21, 2011 - The Web Guys, TWG Design Studio, is honored to share the announcement of a $3 million dollar donation bestowed on Kosairs Children’s Hospital provided by the Addison Jo Blair Foundation.  On behalf of the Blair family, and in commemoration of Addison Jo Blair, Kosairs Children’s Hospital is receiving the donation and will begin renovations on their pediatric unit in early 2012.
 
In response to the outpour of community contribution in fundraising for the Addison Jo Blair Foundation, parents Wes and Kelly Blair have decided to honor their daughter through donating life insurance policies purchased with surplus funds from community gifts offered while Addison Jo underwent treatment.  These policies will be payable to Kosairs Children’s Hospital, and signify taking a gift from the community, and using it to better serve the community in a much bigger way down the road.  In addition to the life insurance policies, the Blair’s are also able to donate continued fundraising contributions through ongoing giving and support through the Addison Jo Blair Foundation.

This wonderful gift donated to the Kosairs Children’s Hospital will not only include renovations to the pediatric cancer unit, but will also entail a new name bestowed on this floor of the hospital, honoring Addison Jo Blair.  The generosity of the Blair family in their donation is a testament to the inscrutable human spirit of giving and love within the community and surrounding this family.  The Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care and Renal Center donation was celebrated at Kosairs Children’s Hospital on Thursday, October 20, 2011.
