Guida’s Milk is Moooving on Up

Guida’s Milk installed a new silo over the weekend at their 433 Park Street location in New Britain, CT.
Oct. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Guida’s Milk, one of the largest independent family owned dairies in CT, installed a new silo over the weekend at their 433 Park Street location in New Britain, CT.  

Guida’s Milk purchased the new silo through Feldmeier Equiptment, Inc.  The silo arrived at the facility on Friday, October 14th and was installed by Walker Crane and Rigging at Guida’s Milk corporate headquarters on Saturday, October 15th.  

The impressive storage tower was air lifted over Guida’s Milk new 25,000 square foot addition to their plant facility by crane.  The tower was then installed on a pad specifically designed and built to withstand the weight of the tower and milk.  

Guida’s Milk new silo will offer them an extraordinary extra 50,000 gallons of capacity of raw milk storage.  This will streamline and expedite the segregation of conventional and organic milk at the current Guida’s qmffc Milk facility by using separate storage towers.  

Guida-Seibert Dairy Company is celebrating it's125th anniversary this year.
