Oct. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, Calif. (Oct. 20, 2011) - The Achievable Foundation with the generous sponsorship support of Budget Rent a Car of Southern California will host a 50th anniversary screening of the Oscar-winning 1961 film West Side Story in the exclusive screening room of the WME (formerly William Morris Endeavor) Talent Agency in Beverly Hills, Calif. Proceeds from the evening will support Achievable’s initiative of opening a Los Angeles-based community health clinic with dedicated caregivers and innovative treatment practices specific to serving individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism, intellectual disability, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.  This event will feature a Q&A session with the original leading men of the film, George Chakiris and Russ Tamblyn and a live tribute performance by The Westside Special Actors Group, which will include actors from hit television shows such as Baywatch, ER, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Life Goes On, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

“We are delighted by the support this event is generating for Achievable’s goal of establishing a health clinic specifically for individuals with developmental disabilities,” said
Teddy Tannenbaum, Achievable Board President. “We thank Budget Rent a Car of Southern California for their sponsorship, which enables us to direct all proceeds from ticket sales toward our clinic initiative, and we are honored to have George and Russ participating and lending their celebrity to this worthy cause.”

Tickets are available in advance of the event for $175 per person at www.achievable.org. In addition to the Q&A session, live tribute performance and film screening, admission will also include a hosted food and wine reception, complimentary parking and much more.
