HigherMind Mediaworks Launches New Marketing Firm

Oct. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Waitsfield, Vermont - HigherMind Mediaworks announced its official opening as a new business this week. HigherMind is focused on providing strategic and creative marketing services to educational institutions and mission-driven organizations.  The principals of the firm, Debbie New, Peter Nielsen, and Rob Williams, bring a wide range of creative talent to the table, as well as significant experience in organizational and community development, business management, and new media generation.

Nielsen worked for two decades in the global information industry, marketing highly specialized content and software tools and creating partnerships between research organizations and private enterprise.  He also served as Executive Director of Marketing and Enrollment at Vermont College of Fine Arts before launching HigherMind. Partners New and Williams also bring experience from Vermont's higher education institutions.  New, an educator and choreographer, served as Assistant Director of Admissions at VCFA. Williams has taught at Champlain College for ten years where he is well-known as a leader in utilizing new media in the curriculum and classroom.
