JVS Chicago Honors BPI group at Annual Networking Luncheon

Jewish Vocational Service will honor BPI group, a leading global management and HR consulting firm, at their annual Strictly Business Luncheon on Thursday, October 27, 2011, 11:30 a.m. at the Standard Club in Chicago.

Oct. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Jewish Vocational Service, an organization that helps a diverse population explore career choices and find jobs, will honor BPI group, a leading global management and HR consulting firm, at their annual Strictly Business Luncheon on Thursday, October 27, 2011, 11:30 a.m. at the Standard Club in Chicago.  The luncheon will bring together business leaders, sponsors and guests with a common interest in assisting unemployed and underemployed workers.  

BPI group partnered with JVS Chicago to create the Giving Back program, which has expanded the capabilities of JVS Career Services by offering up to 100 women access to BPI group’s proprietary resources and their internal employer network.  As part of their corporate social responsibility initiative, BPI group is providing complimentary outplacement/career coaching services to JVS Career Services clients.

The luncheon features keynote speaker, Robert A. Annibale, global director of microfinance for Citi.  Annibale is a leading figure in the world of micro-credit, a means of advancing financial assistance to, and encouraging economic development among the world’s poorest communities.  Citi Foundation is a funder of JVS Chicago’s Duman Entrepreneurship Center.   The emcee is Regine Schlesinger, WBBM Newsradio 780.

Proceeds from the luncheon will supplement JVS Chicago’s resources, enabling the agency to respond to increased requests for service, expand program offerings throughout the Chicago area, and create new initiatives to help job seekers be competitive in this churning marketplace.  Tickets are $125 to attend the luncheon.  For information on sponsorships, to purchase a ticket or to make a contribution, call (312) 673-3443.
