Freaky Fat Loss Charity Halloween Boot Camp

Hastings, Ne October 9, 2011 – Hastings Adventure Boot Camp/Fit 4 U Fitness is hosting the third annual Halloween Charity Boot Camp.  The event is open to the general public women and men and costs $15 per attendee with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

In 2011, it is estimated that there will be 230,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer among women, sited on Susan G Komen statistics site.  

The one prevention that we have control over is how we incorporate a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition.

This event creates an environment unlike any other fitness program in the Hastings area.  “Working out on a consistent basis is not easy,” says Stacie Widhelm, owner of Hastings Adventure Boot Camp. “We created this event to bring out the kid in all of our campers and allowing any fitness level to get a great workout.”    The camp is set up so that the trainer is able to make this experience as close to a one on one personal training session with the atmosphere of a group.  You will get personal attention from Stacie and she will be able to tailor the camp to fit your physical ability.

The workout will end with a drawing for a FREE month of camp.  Every attendee who comes with a decorated pumpkin or a costume will get there name put into the drawing.  Everyone will need to bring a pumpkin.  

Widhelm is super-excited about this event.  “I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with so many women and men of the community, it is great to give back with this event and also be helping a great cause.  More importantly, I love that I’m using fitness as the vehicle to do so.”  

The Halloween Boot Camp Workout will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 10am at 505 N. Lincoln (the old middle school, event will take place in the library which is located on the 2nd floor)
