McAfee: Attackers from China have hacked global Oil and Gas companies
*IT security company McAfee says it has found out about hacking on un-named global oil, gas and petrochemical companies, and individuals and executives in Taiwan, Greece, and the United States, to acquire proprietary and confidential information.
The source of the attack is 'several locations in China'.
McAfee says that the attackers managed to get control of hosted IT services, and they compromised servers in the Netherlands.
