PBC Art Gallery presents a Nirupama Yadav's art show, "Inner Reflections"

Oct. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi and Shri Prithviraj Chavan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra inaugurated, today, the solo art show of Ms. Nirupama Yadav at a glittering event, at 26, Prithviraj Road. The art show was organized at the residence of Kamal Meattle, CEO, Paharpur Business Centre (PBC) by PBC Art Gallery, a non-profit vertical of PBC. The show will be displayed from 17oct to till 22oct at PBC Art Galley.
The occasion was graced by the presence of eminent dignitaries like H.E. Mr. Alexander M. Kadakin, Ambassador, Embassy of the Russian Federation Of India, H.E. Sir Richard Stagg KCMG, CMG, High Commissioner, British High Commission and H.E. Mr. Peter Varghese AO, High Commissioner, Australian High Commission. Apart from these, many other prominent VIP’S, Ambassadors and art connoisseurs were also present to appreciate Ms. Yadav’s artworks.
Aptly titled, Inner Reflections, the artworks are a symbolic self portrait of memories, experiences and exploration. Her style of painting develops much like life itself, devoid of complete knowledge of where the journey ends. Her multi-layered work is often a reflection of her most profound emotions resulting in a highly textural canvas which encourages the observer to engage in a deep interaction of personal perception. Hence, she has chosen not title her artworks inviting viewer participation and encourages individual response – and so, it did.

Appreciating her artworks, Smt. Sheila Dikshit, said, “Nirupama Yadav, is a great talent and this showcase, is a laudable initiative of PBC Art Gallery. Her art is rich and takes the onlooker on spiritual journey within oneself. It’s soulful and soothing to the eye and mind.”
Mr. Kamal Meattle felt her work was timeless and expression universal. “Together with her vivid colour palette, these qualities make her work very accessible to people from all walks of life – important to us as 1/3rd of the sales proceeds will go to support Al Gore’ The Climate Reality Project India spreading awareness about climate crisis and broadcasting its solutions”, he said.
The artworks will be on display from October 17 – 22, 2011, Time: 9 am – 6 pm, at PBC Art Gallery, Paharpur Business Centre, Nehru Place Greens, New Delhi – 110 019.
