Two Children and a Ten Hour Flight, HELP!

Having worked fulltime in sales and marketing for a fibre optics company before children, Louise was under no illusion about how hard it would be to re enter such a fast moving industry.  With this thought and the fact that a full time 9-5 job would not really suit family life, she felt that working from home would give her the flexibility to spend more time with her children while contributing to the family’s income.

It was whilst packing for her daughters  school trip that Kids Do Travel was founded, “When my youngest daughter Becca was going on a school trip, we were missing one vital component, a suitcase to put everything in, we had large bulky suitcases in fairly mundane colours not something unique, different and manageable.  Having seen what was available online and on the High Street in my search I realised I had the perfect idea – a one stop shop for childrens travel products”

From a young age, we all look forward to going on holiday, but when it’s our turn to be the parent holidays take on a whole new challenge.  After travelling regularly with two children under 2 to meet up with her husband who was working abroad,  Louise Villis, founder of  Kids Do Travel, decided to share her knowledge and experiences with other mums.  “I feel I managed to get travelling with my girls down to a fine art, parents feel anxious and apprehensive about travelling with young children for the first time.”

Our online store and blog was set up with the aim of providing a community and resource to those parents because with organisation and a little fore thought it can and should be a wonderful experience for the whole family”.
