Telefônica Selects TEL-NT for Multi-Vendor Repair and Spare Part Management Services

TEL-NT to provide multi-vendor repair and spare parts management services for Telefônica’s wireline and optical networks in São Paulo state, Brazil
Oct. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- VALINHOS, Brazil - TEL-NT, a subsidiary of Telmar Network Technology and leader of third-party multi-vendor repair for telecommunications networks and equipment, announced it has been selected by Telefônica to provide multi-vendor repair services and management of its spare parts program for its optical, data and wireline networks in São Paulo state, Brazil.

TEL-NT will provide network-wide repair at Latin America’s largest independent laboratory located in Valinhos, Brazil. In addition to repair services, TEL-NT has expanded its storage capacity by opening nine spare depots in São Paulo state, Brazil to manage quick access to and rapid deployment of 130,000 spare parts to Telefônica’s networks across all São Paulo state. TEL-NT’s spare depots will be located in Araçatuba, Bauru, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirão Preto, Santos, São José dos Campos, São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo and Sorocaba.
