Storage Village Leads Effort to Keep Neighbors Warm this Winter

Oct. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- North Bethesda, MD – October 14, 2011 – Storage Village is working to ensure their neighbors are not left out in the cold this winter by spearheading their 2nd annual community-wide coat collection effort.  Now through October 31st, Storage Village will be raising awareness of our neighbors in need and collecting coats on their behalf.  

Coats collected by Storage Village’s White Flint office will be donated to A Wider Circle, a local non-profit who provides support for our community members in need to rise above poverty.  All donations will be offered in A Wider Circle’s onsite store, where eligible families can shop for their basic home needs.

Storage Village’s assistance to A Wider Circle marks just one of the many ways Storage Village exemplifies and encourages its core values of excellence, integrity, and community service.  Leading by example, each full time employee spends at least 8 hours per month of their work hours volunteering at local non-profits.  Their impact extends across the community; they can be found mentoring children, helping feed the hungry, and serving on the board of national non-profits.
