Michele Forto named as Anchorage Dog Training Examiner

Oct. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Michele Forto, lead trainer of the popular Alaska Dog Works, announced today that she has been brought on board to be a local examiner for the Anchorage area. Her area of expertise will be dog training in Alaska.

Her most recent success is work with service dogs for people with disabilities. As a sought after service dog trainer in Denver, Colorado at her training school headquarters, Denver Dog Works, Forto has brought her expertise to the residents of Alaska. Forto sees her writing as a Dog Training Examiner as an opportunity to use her writing and other skills to continue to increase awareness of what dogs can provide to people as companions.

Her specific focus will be on canine sports and working dogs in the Anchorage area. She plans to cover mushing, the Iditarod, the Fur Rondy as well as other events while brining her readers tips and tricks in training their own dog.

Forto is also the co-host of the popular Internet radio program, Dog Works Radio. The show has been on the air for more than two and a half years and has an international audience.
