With their giant eight-foot gelato cone and restored old pickup truck, no one passes this store without noticing its presence on 6 Vendue Range by Waterfront Park. Belgian Gelato Inc. is a specialty ice cream concept, dedicated to natural gelato, sorbet products and specialty coffees.
Everyone must visit this new store to experience the bold flavors and the perfectly creamy gelato to get the full experience of how dessert should taste. From Belgian Chocolate to Butter Cookie, they have flavors that will please the whole family. For those who cant do gelato they also offer premium coffees, sorbets and granitas!
Founded by father and daughter combination, Hugo Heule and Joany Heule-Missotten from Belgium both professional chefs and entrepreneurs who have been successful in the hotel and restaurant business in Europe. They pride themselves on their daily homemade gelato and exceptional flavors. Each month they create a new “Flavor of the Month”, which has yet to disappoint!
Looking for a new challenge, Hugo and Johanna decided to follow their passion and travel to the capital of gelato: Italy to study the art of gelato. Inspired by the Belgian Chocolates and Pralines, and unsatisfied with the industry standard recipes Hugo and Johanna begun experimenting with their own personalized recipes. Their goal was to use these original recipes to produce homemade, innovative, natural gelato and sorbet blends from quality ingredients and sell in retail shop locations across the United States.
You are encouraged to sample as many delicious favors as you desire! Shop hours are Sunday thru Thursday from 11:00 am till 10:00 pm and Friday thru Saturday 11:00 am till 11:00 pm.
