Her projects span the globe with visually inspiring mosaic motifs that also serve to enhance the lives of many people. Her upcoming mosaic projects for Mirebalais Hospital in Haiti will bring community-based public art to a state-of-the-
art hospital being built by Partners In Health. The Mosaic Artwork Fund For Mirebalais Hospital is steadily moving toward its fundraising goal and we hope to make a significant impact on fulfilling the objective of bringing art of this caliber to those with limited access.” True is the co-founder of the Institute of Mosaic Art in Oakland, CA and specializes in public and architectural mosaic projects. Her community-based projects are focused in urban and developing communities to foster arts education and entrepreneurship both in and out of the classroom.
