Young Canadian Designer inspired by Quantum Physics

Oct. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Adrian Wu is delighted to announce that Creatures of the Photons, his Spring Summer 2011 Collection will launch at LG Fashion Week at 1pm on October 21, 2011. Adrian Wu is known for his layering in fabric and eccentric pieces such as French Couture styled gowns with focus on authentic 18th Century siècle des Lumières (century of Enlightenment) craftsmanship, fabrics and silhouettes.

The new line consists of about 15 pieces is inspired by Quantum Physics, specifically by the double slit theory. “I chose this concept because I am fascinated by things I know little about. As an artist and a designer I like to allow my ideas and opinions to be expressed in my work” says Adrian Wu. The colours, are taken from Quarks that are blue,green, and red that form protons in the 'double slit theory' experiment - The show is titled 'creatures of the protons' for the models are symbolic representations of 'evolution'.

Adrian Wu is quite possibly one of the youngest designers to hit the Canadian design scene in years. However, at just 21 years young, he has already been seen on MTV, CBC, 24hrs, OMNI TV, CTV, CosmoTV, E-Talk, etc. Adrian Wu continues to develop his company in Canada and will be opening a store front studio downtown Toronto end of 2011. He has already produced seven collections in his two years of being in the industry alone.

Adrian Wu hit the Canadian Fashion scene at the age of 18 and has already built up a long list of fashion accreditation in just the last year alone. Wu taught himself how to sew at age 18 and in late 2010 he started his own design company. In the same year, Wu worked as a part time correspondent for MuchMusic and was also internationally published in a book called Style Diaries.
