Oct. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- A well kept secret has been hiding in Huntington Station, New York. "Zapata's Mexican Restaurant;" managed by Carlos Batista is located right across from the former Huntington town house which is now a construction site for a new Lowe's home improvement center.
   Zapata's is extremely proud of it's wide selection of cuisine. "Home of the frozen margarita." is their headline, you won't find a better spot for happy hour than Zapata's for miles. There is a wide array of authentic mexican dishes to delight your taste buds with as well.  The appetizers include delicious jalapeno poppers and many variations of nachos. Main courses consist of the "Outrageous Chimichanga" and the "Burrito Supreme" to name a few. The dishes definitely live up to their names and then some.
   Zapata's is not just a hot spot for the college crowd to meet at, it's also a family destination. The chef realizes that the crowd might not always have the most mature of palettes, so they include a kid's menu with some American classics on the kid's menu as well. The younger crowd can enjoy a hamburger, chicken strips or grilled cheese. The inside of the restaurant gives you the feel that you are surrounded by another culture all together.
