First Merchant Services Announces Mobile Payment Solution

Oct. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, NC – First Merchant Services, through its strategic partnership with United Bank Card (UBC), is pleased to announce that it will be working with CHARGE Anywhere to deliver a state-of-the-art mobile payment solution with free hardware to businesses. The CHARGE Anywhere mobile processing application enables merchants to quickly, easily and securely accept credit and debit payments through their smartphone or tablet anytime, anywhere.

The software application is compatible with Apple, Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile operating systems and First Merchant Services is offering three equipment options to support all mobile processing needs. The standard hardware for this program is a magnetic stripe reader which attaches to the phone through the device’s audio jack. Compatible with Apple, Android and BlackBerry devices, this equipment is being offered free of charge. If merchants require a receipt printer, First Merchant Services also offers a printer with integrated mag stripe reader for Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices as well as another model for Apple devices.

In addition to offering the standard audio jack card reader free of charge, First Merchant Services has also waived the software license fee on all new CHARGE Anywhere mobile accounts to provide the most cost-effective program available.
