Global Gathering of the Church Has Christians Drawing "A Line in the Sand" at Pasadena's Rose Bowl11/11/11 Worldwide Church Gathering will bring Christians from around the world to Pasadena, California, and link others through television, the Internet, and Global prayer, to establish a new global link to a new birthing of a united people of God.

logo as jpg object To us, it was so obvious. Gather the Church, the whole Church, and nothing but the Church. The instruction of the Holy Spirit was clear. Very clear. You see, for as long as He could tolerate it, far too long for the Churches' edification as faithful, Jesus had watched us tear ourselves to shreds, through 'reformation; When should we gather? "11/11/11! Everyone can remember that," said our founder, Robert Berry's Pastor, Pastor Port Wilburn, of Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship, in San Pablo, CA. From late 2010 to September 2011, that is what we did. But we had decided that the "Gathering of the Church" should, by right, occur in the nation's capitol, the "great white city" itself, Washington, DC. We contacted the Ms. Marisa Richardson, Supervising Ranger, at the US National Park Service, DC Branch, and obtained a use permit for the National Mall. Next, we had conducted an email blitz, reaching around the earth, to all branches of our faith, including emails to Vatican City, Rome. We wrote to the Orthodox Sees and Patriarchs. We wrote to Egypt, Ivory Coast, India, Scotland, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong. Then we touted the event at http://www.revelationsperberry.com, and started one of many 11/11/11 information websites. We even started a Twitter account! We constructed a letter and mailed it to 116 Churches in the Washington, DC vicinity, asking for support and volunteer 'host churches,' for the Gathering. We wrote to, and emailed, churches around the USA. Out of this, thank You, Lord, an international ministry began, with our small organization supporting a newly planted church in Hyderabad, India; partnering with Satellite worship team from Scotland, and receiving their blessing to use their "One Church, One Voice" as our event theme song [available at http://www.satelliteworship.com]; supplying a new ministry in war torn Cote D'Ivoire [Ivory Coast] with tracts in English and French. Praise The Lord! But, when the deadline came for committments, no one contacted us, had we received no donations, and as of September 15th, the Washington DC 11/11/11 Gathering of the Church was officially cancelled. But The Lord had spoken, and in our September Project Evaluation Phase, we began to cast about on the internet, to determine the viability of our publicity campaign. We clicked on an 11/11/11 Gathering of the Church Google entry, and it suddenly began to talk: "THE LINE IN THE SAND GATHERING OF THE CHURCH, 11/11/11, NOVEMBER 11, AT 11 AM, AT THE ROSE BOWL, IN PASADENA, CALIFORNIA..." It would seem that we were not, at all, the only group working to gather the Church! On the contrary, we were amongst a bevy of brothers and sisters given the same vision. We knew of, and had reported, Coptic Christian gatherings in Egypt, at the Pyramids of Giza; gatherings in Australia, and the Washington DC gathering which we were planning. Out from Southern California, our very home-base state, The Lord was speaking, calling His people! We began to read the testimonies on the "Line in the Sand" Gathering of the Church site, and realized that this event was no human's idea. Each and every partiipant had been directly inspired by the works of the Holy Spirit. The Gathering of the Church was God's idea... And He was bringing it into being. Other 11/11/11 Church Gatherings include: "TheCall Detroit" 11/11/11, a 24 hour solemn assembly; "San Francisco Bay Area Prayer Summit" 11/11/11 Oakland, CA; and, "The Lion Will Roar-And Draw A Line In The Sand," 11/11/11 Napa, CA. Praise The Lord. We realized, right then, that there was really going to be a global Gathering of the Church on 11/11/11, BUT THE GREATEST GATHERING WAS TO BE IN CALIFORNIA, NOT WASHINGTON, DC. Why? Then came the shaking of the earth, back east. The National Cathedral was damaged-His Church didn't hear. The Washington Monument was damaged-government didn't listen. On our Washington, DC 11/11/11 Gathering of the Church flyer, we had featured the Washington Monument. One of the first churches contacted was the National Cathedral. We wondered what was wrong... And the population poured into the streets in terror, fearing a revenge attack by Bin Laden's followers, or some other terrorism. Suddenly, we realized what was happening. We do not serve a God of fear! There was far too much trepidation and knocking of knees going on in Washington, DC. TOO MANY PEOPLE WERE AFRAID TO GATHER TOGETHER. Too big a Homeland Security issue, for many. The 2001 terror attacks had done their work on the locals. They were terrorized. But, wait! The Lord sees all, knows all. He knew which gathering to prosper.,, We began to monitor the "Line in the Sand" Gathering of the Church. We soon saw a pre-prayer meeting, like those being held up and down the state, in our vicinity, at Voice of Pentacost, in San Francisco, CA. We decided to attend, and see what we could find out. When we mentioned to the "Line in the Sand" planners that we had just been involved in a failed attempt to gather the Church, in Washington, DC, they immediately took our efforts as a sign of confirmation they were on The Lord's path! We took it, likewise, as a sign of confirmation that we, too, had been following The Lord's will. We just had the wrong location! As God would have it, we were called to the altar, to give testimony regarding The Lord's call to us, to gather His people, regardless any of sect, denomination or branch they belonged to, and the fact that we had determined that God was aiming at Pasadena, not the Nation's Capitol, Washington, DC! We were then enlisted into the leadership of the "Line in the Sand" gathering, and we have spent the last couple of weeks notifying Native American nations and tribes of 11/11/11, and contacting traditionally African American Churches, to help notify them of the Rose Bowl Gathering. Planners of the Pasadena event were intrigued by the possibility of holding the NEXT Gathering of the Church in, as The Lord would have it, Washington, DC, United States of America. And, may we someday be welcomed, as we gather in Jerusalem! Last month, we hosted a pre-prayer gathering for 11/11/11 at Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship, in San Pablo, CA. Everything has come full circle. We are where we should be: thank you, Lord! We will be there, at the Rose Bowl. Others from our own church will be there. We will pray and worship, in unity, just as we envisioned we would, way back in 2010, when we started. Our ministry now reaches globally, from India, to Ivory Coast, to Scotland. We have been called forth, in service. Henceforth, we, His Church, can never be separated. Never. Let us be consecrated, ourselves!
