Oct. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Skokie, Ill. – Chicago resident Maggie Marincic was recently selected a “Hero in Long-Term-Care” by the Health Care Council of Illinois and was nominated as an IHCA Social Services Professional of the Year. Maggie is Social WorkEmployee  Director at Alden Estates of Skokie which specializes in short-term orthopedic recovery. She was recognized for positively impacting the facility’s ‘quality of life’ and her commitment to serving the needs of residents and their families. She is one of nearly 100 individuals throughout Illinois who were honored as part of National Nursing Home Week. Marincic received a certificate of recognition.
