Things I liked about Kauai Hawaii are as follows.
It was kind of out of the way of the masses of tourist on the big Island since it’s a hundred miles away.
Hiking the Kalalua Coastline where there are no roads is awesome and sometimes scary.  My girlfriend was so scared at one point on the cliffs that she scooted on her butt.  I didn’t realize how extreme the fear of heights could be.
Surfing was great!
Locals were friendly.
Wasn’t that expensive to rent a place for a whole month.
