Optimizing your Social Media Networks for SEO on your profiles!

Oct. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- it's important to note that Social Media networks aren't only good solely for sharing information, staying in contact, and posting random links or mindless chatter. They actually do a lot more than you think for business!!!

One thing to realize is that your profile alone will help you TREMENDOUSLY with SEO. Here's why:

Treat your profile description as if you are setting up SEO for your website or blog. Your name is the SEO title - that's your actual given name or pen name you decide to help promote yourself. Secondly, in your description..give away key terms or key words that describe what you do, your interests and the like. Of course, in the website section, put your website there to link back and give reference to your aforementioned description!

Another thing to note is to actually put keywords or a long tail keyword phrase inside of your pic description when you upload a pic.
