New Website Layout and Free Entry $300 Counter-Strike: Source Tournament

The RGA League has released a new website theme and is starting a free CS:Source tournament with a $300 cash prize.

Oct. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- The Regional Gaming Association League, or RGA League, has launched our new website theme, which includes many new features.

Some of the new features include:
- Team and member profile pictures
- The ability to add friends
- Member tag boxes
- Team and friend streams

The RGA League is also starting a Counter-Strike: Source bracket. This bracket will consist of scheduled matches between participating teams. Teams are participating to win a cash prize pool that is currently $300. Bracket matches start soon, so register today and get in the game!

The prize pool will get larger as teams donate to the league. The site is setup with a donate button which will take donations via PayPal. 100% of each donation will be added directly to the prize pool.

The League features its own anti-cheat program to help ensure maximum fairness during league matches.

The RGA has created an open bracket for Counter-Strike: Source. The season will open on October 1st, 2011 and will consist of four weeks of random matchups followed by bracket weeks. All teams are invited to participate, so bring your friends, enemies, mom, dog, and the kitchen sink.

Each participating team will automatically be assigned a matchup each week. Teams will be able to schedule the date and time that best fits their schedule. If matches are not sheduled within 48 hours of release, the RGA League system will automatically apply the default date/time.

The default date/time will be 10:00 PM EST on the fifth day after the week start. Since matches are scheduled to be released on Saturdays, that would mean the default day would be the following Thursday at 10:00 PM EST (time zones will be properly reflected to each time zone).

On Client? Yes!
The RGA League has publicly released the new anti-cheat client, AtomBlockerT. The AtomBlocker website is currently under construction, but can be found at www.AtomBlocker.com.

The anti-cheat client can be downloaded from the RGA League website and is MANDATORY for all league matches (ladder and bracket). If you experience any issues please record the error number and report it in the AtomBlocker section of the RGA League forums.

The first season of the Counter-Strike: Source ladder is almost complete. We hope that everyone who participated had fun and will join us for the next season.

zBlock Authhost
We have created our .Net zBlock authhost which will authenticate players as well as show whether they are running the anti-cheat client.
