This is Pixie and Punk’s 3rd trade show this year and is the final opportunity this year for trade to meet the creator.
By: Longshot Ventures 2011 has been a momentous year for Pixie and Punk. The brand was launched at Bubble in January with its first long sleeved collection, was followed by a second collection of short sleeved t-shirts in April 2011. We have exhibited in three major Baby and Toddler Shows (London, Glasgow, Birmingham) and with a further one planned in November (Brighton Expo Sunday on the 13th of November). Pixie and Punk have also exhibited at two County Shows and have a full programme of Christmas shows (including the BIC Christmas show in Bournemouth on the 26th/27th of November, Boutique de Noel Kensington on the 9th/10th of November and the Last Minute Gift Fair at Bluewater from the 15th to the 18th of December). Pixie and Punk is a premium children’s gift brand centred on gorgeous high quality cotton t-shirts with pocket accessories and all in a cotton bag for the two to seven year old. The t-shirt gift sets are available with matching photo story books featuring the same characters from “Eric and Rufus Children’s Books”. The books fit in the cotton bag to make the perfect gift for children this Christmas and throughout the year. The books are written by Tagore Ramoutar and are sold separately on Amazon. The concept, designs and books have been inspired by Tagore’s own children, their friends and cousins. The main inspiration was travelling to Japan on business and not being able to find great presents at airports; and instead going to Japanese department stores to buy wonderful t-shirts as presents. He has sought to create high quality great t-shirts that make children smile and are more than just a bit of clothing. The collections are timeless and feature bold bright colours used in contrast with either short sleeve or long sleeve t-shirts available. The products are conceived in the UK and are produced in Turkey. They are made from 100% Turkish cotton, the quality is “Rich Cotton” with a special finish called “biopolish” The t-shirts generate a great reaction with customers. The t-shirts are a great gift product, targeting retailer’s core customer profile of mothers and gifting grand-parents. Children love the t-shirt, the characters and using the bag to play with. Parents love the quality and classic simple designs. The books are fun but also educational. Together a Pixie and Punk t-shirt and matching book make the “The perfect gift in its own gift bag”. Prices: The long and short sleeved t-shirts with a pocket accessory and cotton bag have a RRP of £18.99, with the book as well the RRP £25.00. The smaller On Tummy t-shirt again with a cotton bag for 2-3 year olds has a RRP of £16.99 and is the perfect introductory product for independent retailers, requiring the retailer to stock only one SKU.
