Mold Issue: Lake Village to Spend $700000 on Rebuilding a New Village Hall

Oct. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Due to damages and mold, the board of McCullom Lake Village is planning to demolish their village hall and build a new one on the same location. The authorized amount being discussed is $700000.

Residents said that the village hall has been a big help to them and with it being infested by mold is everyone’s problem. The $700000 cost on rebuilding will be coming from the village’s utility tax.

The roof was said to have the worst damage. Leakage has been occurring causing mold to grow horribly and spread fast. The village officials and residents panicked and so, the plans for demolishing and rebuilding came out.
