Personal Injury Law Firm, Avera & Smith, LLP Welcomes Benjamin J. Steinberg

Oct. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Avera & Smith, LLP, a  Florida personal inury law firm is pleased to announce that Benjamin J. Steinberg has joined the firm as Attorney.


Steinberg is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he served as Executive Editor of the Florida Law Review. While in law school, he earned Book Awards in Torts, Insurance Law, and Legal Writing and Research.

A “double Gator”, Steinberg also graduated from the University of Florida with double majors in English and Sociology in 2000.

As a law student, Steinberg was author of two significant journal publications:
o   Collateral Damage: Discounted Medical Bills and Conflicting Applications of Florida Statutes § 768.76 as a Rule of Evidence, 62 Fla. L. Rev. 1431 (Dec. 2010).
o   Making BP’s Blood Curd-le: Duty, Economic Loss, and the Potential Cardozian Nightmare After Curd v. Mosaic Fertilizer, 63 Fla. L. Rev. 1245 (Sep. 2011)
His focus at Avera & Smith is in personal injury and workers’ compensation law. He also handles transactional matters such as the drafting of contracts, purchase agreements and indemnification agreements.

Steinberg is a member of the Florida Bar and a member of the Florida Justice Association.
