Follow on Google News | ![]() Group Housing Benefit Plan Now Available to Spring ISD EmployeesThe nearly 5,000 employees of Spring Independent School District can now take advantage of benefits offered by the group housing benefits plan provided by National Housing Benefit Alliance (NHBA).
In addition to plan benefits, professional educators and district police officers may be eligible for 30-year fixed low interest rate mortgage loans, down payment and closing cost assistance in the form of a grant through the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC). NHBA has partnered with First Community Mortgage to assist plan members with finding the right financing program. Those employees who are not eligible for TSAHC programs may get information on FHA, VA, USDA and other homebuying programs. “Our goal is to educate the workforce while providing them with opportunities for homeownership. By providing employees with financial literacy programs we empower them to take control of their finances in addition to becoming smart homeowners,” As an added benefit, Spring ISD employees may also receive discounts and savings offered by local NHBA Preferred Partners and a national discount program.
