Amanda's Big World Adventure Travels to Hawaii to Explore, Dream and Discover!

Oct. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Looking for adventure and to give readers a sneak peek at how Amanda’s Big World Adventure is going to take them on a suspenseful cyber-journey around the world, Amanda chose destinations ranked as No. 3 - Kauai, No. 4 - Maui and No. 7 - Hawaii Island in the U.S. News and World Report’s list of “16 Best Adventure Vacations in the USA”.

Acting as a tool for teachers and parents to use in exposing their young explorers to geography, history and world cultures, Amanda will be traveling the world. She will be working and volunteering for foundations, organizations and companies about which most have never heard, and will be giving a behind-the-scenes look of what it is like to live, work and play in those countries – 3 months at a time. Hawaii is just the beginning! China, Nepal, Spain, Colombia and Argentina comprise the 18-month adventure that starts in January 2012. This adventure is a FREE teaching tool for use in stimulating students to learn about geography and history in an exciting online format.

The focus of the trip is education and awareness. The goal: to show the similarities and differences among the cultures. The daily article, video clips, photos and monthly contest will feed the curiosity of readers. The weekly Whereosity Plan will involve students in the trip and allow them to help plan the trip and follow along on the cyber-journey. The students will receive credit in the article and video if Amanda chooses their Whereosity Plan suggestion.
