“Fabulous Fantasy Family Reunion” Contest for Families Planning Reunions Begins
Family members wanting to plan an extravagant reunion now have the chance to win a free blueprint at the value of $1000. I’m With Them Events, a recreation & reunion events management company, is holding the contest.
“We came up with this contest because we wanted to celebrate Family Stories Month and Family Reunion Planning Month both scheduled in November” said Monica C. Dowe, CEO/Senior Events Manager of I’m With Them Events. “This prize will be a great benefit to the winning family because we will take their greatest and most outrageous ideas and make their story come to life!”
The contest is open to any family member (one per family), who must submit a 300 word essay on a fantasy family reunion that they would like to host in the summer of 2012. The story must be located in North Carolina, and the event duration cannot last longer than two days.
There is $9.99 entry fee. Entrees can be submitted through email or mail until the November 30, 2011 deadline. The top five stories will be chosen by Dowe, and two unannounced panel members. Then a public vote will take place to choose the best story out of the five. The winner will be announced on December 9th, 2011 on YouTube at 8:00 pm EST on the imwiththemevents channel.
The winner will receive:
• All entrees will receive a 10% discount off any reunion package booked for 2012 (a minimum of $150 savings).
• All semi-finalists (5) will receive two (2) free tickets the Family Reunion Planning Workshop scheduled for January 2012 (date TBA) (valued at $200).
• The winner (1) will receive VIP day to create a realistic plan developed from the submitted story customized for the winner’s family to use for their next reunion. (This plan is valued at $1000).
